UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar calls 'CUET 2022 a student friendly reform'
CUET: NTA will conduct the CUET 2022 exam for admission of students in UG programmes from the academic session 2022–2023 in all UGC-funded Central Universities

National Testing Agency will conduct Central University Entrance Test, CUET 2022, for mission of eligible students in undergruate programmes from acemic session 2022–2023 in all UGC-funded Central Universities. On Tuesday, UGC released a notification informing candidates about commencement of CUET 2022 for college missions in India. Meanwhile, chairman of University Grants Commission, M. Jagesh Kumar, said that only scores obtained in CUCET will be used for missions into central universities.

Notably, starting this year, board exam results for Class 12 will no longer be considered as a valid document for missions. ding more regarding this move, UGC chairman stated that introduction of CUET is a "student-friendly reform". chairman told media people, " announcement of Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is a student-friendly reform. students who wanted to get mission to universities h to write various exams, whereas some universities took missions on basis of Class 12 results" he ded.

Meanwhile, UGC has called CUET a student-friendly reform that will allow all students to take part in exam and put everyone at one common level. While speaking to reporters regarding CUET 2022, chairman also spoke about an expected exam date. He hinted that examination would be conducted in July 2022. However, re have not been any final dates announced for examination. National Testing Agency, along with UGC, has confirmed that registration for CUET 2022 will begin in first week of April.
