UPSC exam 2020: Exam Centre change allowed for civil services and IFS (prelims & Mains)
UPSC allows exam centre change for civil service prelims and IFS prelims. Civil services mains and Forest Services mains exams likely to allow centre change too

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recently released an official tification regarding UPSC exam centre change for 2020 exams. UPSC has allowed candidates to change ir exam centres for civil services preliminary examination, scheduled on October 4. Besides this, candidates can also change centres for civil services (main) examination, 2020, and Indian Forest Service (Main) examination, 2020. first phase of exam centre change process starts tomorrow on July 7th till July 13th. UPSC IFS and Civil services 2020: exam centre change
- window of submitting revised choice of exam centres will be done in two phases.
- first phase is scheduled from 7th-13th July 2020 (till 6 PM)
- second phase is scheduled from 20th-24th July 2020 (till 6 PM)
- Candidates should te that change in centres will be considered on a ‘first-apply-first-allot’ basis.
- exam centre changing process will only be conducted on official UPSC website at - https://upsconline.nic.in.
- However, candidates who do t intend to change ir exam centres need t log in to "exam centre change option" on website.
- Recently, UPSC h also decided to make a ‘withdrawal window’ available to candidates on Commission’s website during period from 1st-8th August 2020 to allow m to withdraw ir application from test. withdrawal conditions are same according to tice issued in February 2020.

UPSC 2020 exam updates
- In UPSC calendar, next exam to be conducted is NDA and NA exam which are slated for September 6. Inste of conducting two exams yearly, National defence acemy and Naval acemy will hold a single exam this year in September.
- Civil services exam for 2020 is slated for October 4 according to revised UPSC exam calendar. civil services examination is conducted annually in three sts that are preliminary, mains and interview. UPSC conducts various exams to select officers for Indian ministrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among ors.
