Republic TV has accessed statement of 907 artists titled as 'Nation First Collective: an initiative by Creative Collective Trust'.

Referring to Modi-led government, artists state:
"We believe that during last five years, India has seen a Govt. that has delivered corruption-free good governance and development-oriented ministration. During this period, globally India has acquired greater respect. It is our firm conviction that continuance of Govt. led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is need of hour".

Highlighting point that when challenges like terrorism are faced by country nation requires “Majboot Sarkar” and not a “Mazboor Sarkar”.

Earlier, around 700 atre personalities h signed a letter asking people to "vote BJP and its allies" out of power, arguing that idea of India and its constitution are under threat. letter was issued on 'Artist Unite India website' on Thursday evening in 12 different languages namely:

- Malayalam
- Kanna
- Assamese
- Telugu
- Punjabi
- Konkani
- Urdu
letter, along with names of signatories, states that said upcoming Lok Sabha elections are "most critical in history" of country.
