Taking to Twitter, Finance Minister has asserted that model code of conduct is preventing Congress party and its president for calling an honest Prime Minister "chor".

He ded that Congress filed a complaint at EC alleging that PM Modi violated Model Code of Conduct after he called Congress legacy as ‘Corrupt . 1’, asking if re are two Model Codes of Conduct.
Earlier on Sunday, Arun Jaitley lashed out at Rahul Gandhi asking him why he was getting disturbed over integrity issues of Rajiv Gandhi government referring to Bofors scandal.

Later, calling him a 'dynast' Finance Minister attacked Congress Chief for questioning integrity of Prime Minister Modi.
Controversy erupted over PM Modi's remarks on former PM Rajiv Gandhi wherein he h said that Rajiv Gandhi ended his life as "Corrupt . 1".

PM Modi, taking a jibe at Congress president Rahul Gandhi at a rally in Uttar Presh’s Pratapgarh on Saturday, h said: “Your far was termed ‘Mr. Clean’ by his courtiers but his life ended as ‘bhrashtachari’ (corrupt) number 1.”
Responding to PM Modi's comments on his far, Rahul Gandhi h taken to Twitter and reminded Prime Minister of his "karma” with love and a huge hug.
