Initiated by Anish Gawande, Devina Buckshee, and Smriti Deora, trio through Pink List India encapsulates a catalogue of politicians who have extended ir support to LGBTQIA+ community.

One of founders, Anish Gawande while speaking to Republic World, ted how re is a deficiency of documentation of those from political spectrum who have stood up for community, in contrast to those who have me homophobic statements.
He said, "re is less documentation of politicians who've extended ir support. Pink List is an archive of statements me by politicians from across parties. This is t a cheer-list or endorsement of ir ideologies."

Seeking to build a movement that takes queer and trans right into political landscape and call for inclusivity of community, Pink List is a comprehensive list of politicians contesting Lok Sabha 2019 elections who have supported LGBTQIA+ rights publicly.
