World leaders seem to have taken note of the scale of the ruling party National Democratic Alliance’s performance in the Lok Sabha elections as several other nations have come forward to wish PM Modi. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan and President of the People Republic of China, Xi Jinping also extended warm greetings to the Prime Minister.

Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies are set to win over 350 seats if the trends towards the end of the counting session are anything to go by. The United Progressive Alliance, in all probability, won’t touch three figures and stood at 94 seats at the time of publishing the story. Even the combined tally of all the other parties might not reach the three-figure mark, as it was just 97 seats.
