Anupam Kher has always been vocal about various issues concerning country and never shies away from expressing his opinion on political issues. For shocking violence witnessed in West Bengal between BJP and TMC workers, veteran had a one-word answer, ‘chaotic’. He also slammed so-called ‘intolerance gang’ for ir silence on  controversy.

Kher on Wednesday asked his Twitter followers to send across questions as a part of #AskAnupam session. actor was on his way to Chandigarh, where actor-wife and sitting MP Kirron Kher is contesting again on a BJP ticket, via Shatabdi Express. 

entire county is aghast and shocked about violence and that was first question ‘A Wednesday’ star answered. Kher called it ‘chaotic.’

One user asked him about silence of ‘intolerance gang’, referring to those who had stated that re was intolerance in country, amid Bengal turmoil, he didn’t mince words and said, ‘y are exposed and so ir motives.🙂" 

Ar user quipped that it’s great he’s going to Chandigarh and t Kolkata, saying breeze in train was better than air in jail. He also hoped Kirron Kher wins in election. Kher replied this was just beginning.

Violent clashes had broken out during BJP president Amit Shah's roadshow in heart of Kolkata, as sticks were hurled at Shah’s truck and even at Police who were manning crowd.   

In an attempt to disrupt roadshow, attackers began hitting Police and along with that, waved black flags, held placards and raised anti-BJP slogans outside University of Calcutta.

Soon after, a scuffle broke out between miscreants and BJP workers, following which Police resorted to lathi-charge.

In a massive decision that comes against backdrop of violence being witnessed in each of six phases of 2019 Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal thus far, Election Commission decreed on Wednesday that election campaigning for seventh phase in state would be suspended 24 hours ahead of earlier allotted time, and anunced key personnel decisions in relation.
