Here's what former President Pranab Mukherjee said after casting his vote in Phase 6 of Lok Sabha polls

Polling is underway in fifty-nine seats across seven states in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha election 2019 on Sunday.

Polling is underway in fifty-nine seats across seven states in sixth phase of Lok Sabha election 2019 on Sunday. As national capital of Delhi polls for its seven Lok Sabha constituencies in this phase, former President of India Pranab Mukherjee came out to exercise his right to vote at a polling booth in K Kamaraj Ro in Delhi. Mukherjee waved at media and showed his inked finger after casting his vote.

After casting his vote, Mukherjee took to Twitter to post a picture of himself and said that everyone must exercise ir right in largest democracy as elections are largest festival in country. 

 Apart from national capital, voting in phase 6 will be held in 14 seats in Uttar Presh, 10 in Haryana, 9 in Bihar, 8 seats each in Mhya Presh and West Bengal and 4 in Jharkhand. Unprecedented security arrangements have been me in state of West Bengal by EC as state has been witnessing extreme violence in earlier phases of elections.

contest in Delhi is crucial with BJP looking forward to repeating its 2014 performance of winning all seven seats while AAP is trying to woo voters on basis of development work y have been doing in state, Congress is also aiming to make a comeback in state after it lost its presence owing to 2011 anti-corruption movement.
