dressing a roshow in Delhi's Kalindi Kunj, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday alleged that BJP does t want to open Shaheen Bagh stretch of Kalindi Kunj ro. Alleging that BJP is resorting to "dirty politics", Kejriwal said that Shaheen Bagh has been protesting for over a month w and yet saffron party is doing politics.

He said law and order in national capital entirely lies with Centre and "if y are saying that y need permission from me, I am giving m permission, open ro in one hour". He also alleged that BJP just kws how to do "dirty politics over everything".

"I can give you this in writing, BJP does t want to open route in Shaheen Bagh. Shaheen Bagh route will remain closed till February 8 (election day) and it will open February 9," Kejriwal told reporters.

Delhi Assembly Elections 

Delhi polls will take place on February 8 and result will be declared on February 11. BJP has fielded Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha president Sunil Yav against AAP chief and current CM Kejriwal from New Delhi constituency, and Congress has fielded former NSUI Delhi president Ramesh Sabharwal against him. While Congress is eyeing a comeback in name of late CM Shiela Dikshit, BJP is contesting under leership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. ruling AAP is seeking votes claiming ir work in sector of education, health and water in past five years.

On sidelines of heated campaign, a Twitter war between parties is going on, in what seems to be an attempt to woo young voters. trend started with AAP posting memes and parody highlighting achievements of CM Kejriwal in last five years. Soon after, Congress and BJP also joined ranks to criticise each or. However, it took a serious turn when AAP posted a parody of ir campaign song "L Raho Kejriwal" with visuals of Maj Tiwari dancing on it. This irked BJP and saffron party slapped a whopping 500 crore defamation tice on AAP.
