Lok Sabha Elections 2019: BJP releases second list with 36 candidates, Dr Sambit Patra to contest from Odisha's Puri
The BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) released its second list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 carrying 36 names. BJP national spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra will contest the general election from Puri parliamentary constituency in Odisha.

BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) released its second list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections 2019 on late Friday night carrying 36 names for Andhra Presh, Assam, Maharashtra and Odisha polls. list included 23 minees for Andhra Presh, six candidates for Maharashtra and five for Odisha. Also, one candidate each for Assam and Meghalaya were also anunced in list.
BJP national spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra will contest general election from Puri parliamentary constituency in Odisha. While Odisha BJP president Basant Panda will contest from Kalahandi seat, senior leer Suresh Pujari is set to contest from Bargarh seat.

- Girish Bapat from Pune (Maharashtra)
- Dilip Kumar Kilaru from Vijayawa (Andhra Presh)
- Bharati Pawar from Dindori (Maharashtra)

Meanwhile, BJP released its candidate list for Lok Sabha elections on Thursday. BJP's first list contained 184 candidates including some of its biggest leers such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Smriti Irani and ors. It covers seats from a number of states.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again contest from Varanasi. BJP party chief Amit Shah will be contesting Lok Sabha elections for first time, from Gandhinagar constituency in Gujarat.

Along with bigwigs from BJP, Narendra Modi-led party also anunced contest for a number of new entrants from Congress and TMC for 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
