PIB was at its creative best on Wednesday after they used Bollywood to connect with citizens, urging them to vote in a new Sunny-Deol featuring Border themed meme.

The post has the character Mathura Das asking his superior, Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri to excuse him from voting, as he has other plans. Dubbing Major Singh's famous dialogue, Mathura Das gets yelled at saying,'Plans kiske nahi hote Mathura Das, Agar sabne plans ka bahana bana kar Vote nahi dala to Democracy kaise majboot hogi?' (Everyone has plans. If everyone used plans as excuses, then how can a democracy be strong?)

PIB posted the tweet reminding citizens their commitment to vote:

Twitterverse were quick to appreciate PIB's Bollywood take on voting:

This post is a continuing Bollywood themed voting initiative by PIB. On Monday, PIB gave more reasons for Simran to run faster towards Raj’s outstretched hand in ‘Dilwale Dulhania le jayenge’ (DDLJ)had posted a DDLJ themed voting post in which Simran’s father, the veteran actor Late Amrish Puri asks his daughter, ‘Kya kaha, Raj har baar Vote deta hai!! (What, Raj votes every time?)’. As Simran answers ‘Han Bauji’, he gives his blessing saying ‘Jaa Simran Jaa, he is a responsible citizen’.

Twitterverse around the country are loving the newly responsible tint added to the otherwise care-free Raj Malhotra tweeting their support:
