NC President Farooq Abdullah demands inquiry in the Pulwama terror attack, says 2019 Lok Sabha elections will decide 'weather J&K will be able to remain a part of the Union with dignity'

In yet ar controversial speech, National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah accused PM  Narendra Modi of spreing falsehood and said that this parliamentary election will decide wher Jammu and Kashmir will be "able to remain a part of Union with dignity".

dressing election meetings at Babemb in Khanyar and Kangan in Ganderbal, NC president said:

"This election shall decide if state of Jammu and Kashmir is able to remain a part of Union with dignity. people of state are directly fighting BJP and ir cronies here through ballot for protection of ir identity. This election will decide if we are able to live with our neighbouring country in peace. general elections are also significant since it is a direct fight between falsehood and truth. However, matter how much y try, falsehood is bound to perish," he ded. 
 

Alleging that Jammu and Kashmir was "facing immense onslaught" from all sides, Abdullah who is contesting from Srinagar Lok Sabha seat that goes on poll in second phase said:

 "Today, forces inimical to our special status and identity are also trying to distort our history. t to talk of his (PM Modi) promises which he me in run up to 2014 elections. He has put into abyss what good was achieved by previous government."

Demanding an inquiry in Pulwama terror attack, Abdullah said: 

"I earnestly insist a thorough inquiry into incident that killed 40 CRPF men on Jammu-Srinagar highway. Unfortunately, PM Modi is milking post-Pulwama situation and Balakot airstrikes to extreme levels to hide his misrule and misgovernance."

Earlier during first phase of election campaigning, Abdullah h stroked controversy when he insulted Indian security forces by questioning death of Pulwama Martyrs. 
He h said:

"Were Indian soldiers t Martyred in Chhattisgarh? Did Modi Ji go re to give m blood? Did he sympathise with ir families? Did he say something about soldiers who were martyred here? But those 40 CRPF people who were martyred, Which I doubt. And I am telling you truth".
