PM Narendra Modi to address mega rallies in West Bengal, Tripura, Manipur today

Taking forward his campaign blitz, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing three rallies on Sunday in three different states.  Informing about the rallies, the PM tweeted that he will be addressing mega rallies at Cooch Behar district of West Bengal, at Udaipur  in Tripura and at Imphal, the capital city of Manipur.

BJP is intending to make inros in state of West Bengal that sends 42 MPs to Lok Sabha. party has emerged as main opposition against Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool. state polls on all seven phases beginning from April 11. Earlier in his rally, PM alleged that Mamata Banerjee was 'speed breaker' in development of state.

While BJP is in power in Maniour with N Biren Singh being CM, Congress holds two Lok Sabha seat in state. Earlier, party president Amit Shah in his election rally said that 'Manipur was in safe hands of Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh, a “true chowkidar” by virtue of having served in Border Security Force.'

In Tripura, BJP ousted 25 years of Left Front's rule by defeating Manik Sarkar in assembly elections in 2018. It is aiming to register same win in two seats for general elections.
