With completion of seventh and final phase of voting on Sunday in seven states and one union territory of India, polling in all-important 2019 Lok Sabha polls - largest exercise in democratic franchise anywhere in world - has officially come to an end. With an estimated 900 million citizens voting in thousands of polling booths in every corner of country, what remains w is final vote-counting which will encapsulate results of 39 days of voting and determine composition of 17th Lok Sabha, and onwards from re, next government of India. However, before that moment of truth on May 23, Republic Media Network has broadcast India's biggest exit poll - mega double exit poll in collaboration with country's top pollsters Jan Ki Baat and CVoter.
After conducting extensive on-ground surveys all across country following each of seven phases of 2019 polls, double Republic Exit Poll presents a projection of how seat-shares and vote-shares could turn out for each of states and union territories of India, and put toger, project wher BJP and NDA will be able to repeat ir historic mandate of 2014 and conversely, wher Congress, UPA will be able to make a fightback from reaching a historic low.

Nagaland:
First time in 15 years Naga People's Front, a party that has dominated Nagaland politics has t fielded any candidate in Lok Sabha polls. Four candidates are in fray for one seat in Nagaland, namely former Chief Minister K L Chishi from Congress, sitting MP Tokheho Yepthomi from Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), which is supported by BJP, Hayithung Tungoe from National People's Party (NPP) and M.M Thromwa Konyak of Indian Christian Secular Party (ICSP), who is running as an independent. It is first time in 15 years that NPF has t backed BJP in state; and first time it will support arch-rival’s Congress’s candidate, veteran leader K L Chishi.
