After the Supreme Court dismissed Lalu Prasad Yadav's bail plea on Wednesday, the RJD supremo has written a letter from jail asking his supporters to save democracy and Constitution.

After Supreme Court dismissed Lalu Prasad Yadav's bail plea on Wednesday, RJD supremo has written a letter from jail asking his supporters to save democracy and Constitution.

In letter, he also slammed ruling party for a conspiracy against him which has led him to be sentenced to jail.  He also asked people to fight like him in order to defeat ruling party.

Earlier on Wednesday, Supreme Court dismissed Lalu Prasad Yadav's bail plea. Yadav, who has been in a hospital for about eight months w, had sought bail on medical grounds.

This comes after Central Bureau of Investigation filed an affidavit before opposing bail plea of Yadav convicted in fodder scam.

CBI, which sought d from a bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi to file its response to bail plea of Lalu Yadav, said RJD leader is likely to get involved in political activities and misuse grant of bail ahead of upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

probe ncy said that in any case Lalu Yadav has been in a hospital ward for over eight months and indulging in political activities. "During period in which petitioner (Lalu Yadav) remained in hospital, he is t only granted a special paying ward with all facilities but he is virtually conducting his political activities from re which would be clear form list of visitors," CBI in its reply said.
