Sadhguru makes 17-hour journey home from USA to cast his vote in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore

Among the eminent personalities who cast their vote in Tamil Nadu was Sadhguru who travelled 17 hours, all the way from US, for one day, to cast his vote in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. After casting his vote, he said that it is a privilege to select the one who will rule the country.

With country headed into second phase of elections, 95 seats across 12 states are in poll fray. In Tamil Nadu, with polling cancelled in Vellore constituency, rest 38 constituencies are voting on Thursday to choose ir MPs. 

Among eminent personalities who cast ir vote in Tamil Nadu was Sadhguru who travelled 17 hours, all way from US, for one day, to cast his vote in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. After casting his vote, he said that it is a privilege to select one who will rule country.

Days after  Election Commission had anunced dates for Lok Sabha election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had begun a campaign encouraging young people to vote in Lok Sabha polls. He took to Twitter to tag spiritual leaders including Sri Sri Ravishankar, Sadhguru and Baba Ramdev to encour ors to vote.

Even before PM's request, Sadhguru had been actively involved in spreading importance of voting and urging people to vote in  Lok Sabha elections 2019.
