Actor Rajpal Yadav on Saturday met Congress leader PC Chako in Delhi on Saturday to seek a ticket to fight elections against BJP's Manoj Tiwari from the national capital.

Actor Rajpal Yav on Saturday met Congress leer PC Chako in Delhi on Saturday to seek a ticket to fight elections against BJP's Maj Tiwari. Earlier, pertaining to his candidature, actor has provided a formula to grand old party, stating that he would campaign on all seven seats in national capital.

On Wednesday, political aspirant met with Delhi Congress chief Shiela Dixit at her residence, after which Yav said that he was given assurance of positive signs and that he might get a ticket on Thursday.

Mr. Yav confirmed meeting with former Delhi chief minister and said he has often paid visits to Dikshit. He said he plans to contest Lok Sabha election from Delhi.

A senior Delhi Congress leer said that Rajpal Yav sought party ticket from rth East Delhi seat, currently held by Delhi BJP president and popular Bhojpuri singer-actor Maj Tiwari.

"However, talks are on for an alliance with AAP and thing is certain so far. So commitment was me to him," said Congress leer.

In 2016, Yav h floated Sarva Sambhav Party.

"Everything will be clear in 2-3 days," Yav said when asked wher he will contest on a Congress ticket or as a candidate of his own outfit.

In 2014, Maj Tiwari emerged victorious with almost six lakh votes in a contest against Congress' Jai Prakash Aggarwal from rth East Delhi constituency.
