Union Minister Piyush Goyal shuns Rabri Devi's claim that the government is trying to kill Lalu Yadav
In response to the sensational allegations leveled by Rabri Devi, former Chief Minister of Bihar that there is a threat to the life of her husband and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav who is in jail, Union Minister and BJP leader Piyush Goyal has mocked the leader.

Speaking in Ahmedab to news ncy ANI, Goyal said :

"re’s GST on leveling allegations. He ( Lalu Pras Yav) is in jail because of legal proceedings and court’s verdict. He must answer people of country. We have t kept him in jail. se allegations are futile."
Earlier on Saturday, Rabri h alleged that central government is trying to kill her husband Lalu Yav by poisoning him, while he is in jail. Her comments came after family was denied to meet Lalu Yav on Saturday.
"y did t even let his own son meet him on Saturday. y only allow three people to meet him every week. If something happens to Laluji n people will take to streets. If state and Central government wants to kill him by poisoning, if y want to kill entire Lalu family, y can do that, this kind of dictatorship won't work," he said.

probe ncy h earlier said that in any case Lalu Yav has been in a hospital ward for over eight months.
"During period in which petitioner (Lalu Yav) remained in hospital, he is t only granted a special paying ward with all facilities but he is virtually conducting his political activities from re which would be clear form list of visitors," CBI in its reply said.

three cases in which Lalu Yav has been convicted are related to over Rs. 900-crore fodder scam, which pertains to fraudulent withdrawal of money from treasuries in Animal Husbandry department in early 1990s, when Jharkhand was part of Bihar.
