Amit Shah slams Cong, says, it 'has done nothing for OBC community'

Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a rally Nandurbar's Navapur on Saturday and accused Congress of not doing anything for the welfare of the OBCs

Union Home Minister Amit Shah dressed a rally in Nandurbar's Navapur on Saturday while campaigning for BJP in Maharashtra ahe of Assembly elections in State. Amit Shah slammed Congress and accused party of t doing anything for welfare of OBC community. 

'People of ivasi and OBC community elected BJP Govt'

Shah said, "Today, I came here in a place which has  majority of ivasis and I feel proud in saying that Narendra Modi Government is government elected by country's ivasi and OBC community." He ded, "BJP is party with maximum number of MPs and MLAs from OBC and tribal community and Congress did t do anything for welfare of OBC community except for making promises. Whenever BJP Government was formed in Centre, y started work for ir welfare." Home Minister furr stated that earlier it was Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led BJP Government and w under leership of PM Narendra Modi, various schemes have been started to support people of OBC and tribal communities.

While attacking Congress, Amit Shah on Friday asked its leer Rahul Gandhi what four generations of his family have done for ivasis during ir 70-year rule in country and stressed region will be free of Naxalism in next five years. dressing a poll rally at Aheri in Gchiroli district, Shah, also BJP chief, said that Narendra Modi-led government at Centre did more works for ivasis than previous Congress and NCP governments both at Centre and in Maharashtra. Listing works carried out by BJP-led Central and State governments, Shah said that in Gchiroli alone, y have built 1.30 lakh toilets, provided 48,000 gas cylinders, supplied electricity to 48,000 ivasis households, and gave homes to 8,000 poor tribals.

Hailed PM Modi for scrapping Article 370

Shah also hailed PM Modi for scrapping Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir and said that Prime Minister has secured country. He alleged Congress was t rey to scrap Article due to vote bank politics. "But Modi Ji did it in first session after winning over 300 seats (in 2019 Lok Sabha polls). w, Kashmir is linked with India forever and is on way of development and process of ericating terrorism has begun," he said.
