Asaduddin Owaisi: Won't allow Bharat to become 'Hindu Rashtra'
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said Bharat is "not a Hindu Rashtra" and they will also not let it become so.

His comments came after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat last week said Sangh is firm on its vision that "Bharat is a Hindu Rashtra". dressing an election rally on Monday night in Kalyan town of Maharashtra's Thane district for party candidate Aiaz Moulavi, Owaisi said a section of society wants to paint entire country in one colour, but "we see Hindustan in multiple colours, it is beauty of Hindustan". "Bharat is t a Hindu Rashtra, and Inshallah, we will t allow it to become so," he said.

Bharat is unique because of its secularism and pluralism
Alleging that Shiv Sena was against green colour, he said, "Change your spectacles and you will see green colour in national flag also." He said Bharat is unique because of its secularism and pluralism. re is or country in world as Bharat and "we are proud of it". "I want to tell those in RSS that we are t living here on your sympathy. If you want to measure index of my happiness or sorrow, you and we should see what Constitution has given to us," Owaisi said.

'You cant stop us'
He also said that All India Majlis-e-Itteh-ul- Muslimeen (AIMIM) has established itself in Aurangab because of its own efforts. "We will spre to or parts of state also. You cant stop us," he said. Owaisi also said that NDA government was patting its own back by banning practice of triple talaq, but was t aware of woes of members of Muslim community. He demanded that members of mirity community be provided reservation for ir progress and development.
