The Supreme Court-appointed mediators in the Ayodhya case have issued an order following the first day of their discussions with stakeholders at the Awadh university at Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Supreme Court-appointed mediators in Ayodhya case have issued an order following first day of ir discussions with stakeholders at Awh university at Faizab, Uttar Presh.

order, which lists names of three mediators - retired Supreme Court Justice Kalifulla, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Sriram Panchu - res as follows:

Chairman and Members of Mediation Committee appointed by Hourable Supreme Court of India for resolution of Ramjanmabhoomi/Babri Masjid dispute h assembled for First meeting at 10:30 am at Faizab, Uttar Presh, to start Mediation proceedings. tices h been issued to all parties to different Civil Appeals pending in Hourable Supreme Court and to ir vocates as well. Committee heard all parties who attended proceedings.

Committee brings to tice of all concerned, observation of Hourable Supreme Court of India, which is to following effect:

"We are also of view that mediation proceedings should be conducted with utmost confidentiality so as to ensure its success which can only be safeguarded by directing that proceedings of mediation and views expressed rein by any of parties including learned mediators shall be kept confidential and shall t be revealed to any or person."

Furr, Committee directs that re should t be any reporting of mediation proceedings in print or or media.

It was on March 8 that Supreme Court h ordered a time-bound 8-week mediation into deces-old dispute, appointing three-member panel and setting Faizab as location where mediation would be held.
