AAP Releases Second List of Candidates for Haryana Assembly Polls

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday released its second list of candidates for Haryana Assembly polls.

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday released its second list of candidates for Haryana Assembly polls.

The party's state unit chief Sushil Gupta said that the list was released after the seat-sharing talks between Congress and Arvind Kejriwal -led APP ended on Monday.

"We waited till an appropriate time (for Congress ). We will issue the second list today. The AAP will fight on 90 seats with full strength. We have only one aim to uproot the corrupt BJP government," Gupta told PTI.

He further accused the BJP of turning Haryana into a crime capital. Gupta said, “Unemployment is highest in Haryana and people have made up their mind for change. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is Haryana's son.”

AAP's Second List for Haryana :

The party has fielded Ritu Bamaniya from Sadhaura,  Hawa Singh from Indir,  Krishan Bajaj from Thanesar, Mukhtiyar Singh Bazigar from Ratia and Bhupendra Beniwal from Adampur. Furthermore, Chhatar Pal Singh has been fielded from Barwala, Jawah1ar Lal from Bawal, Pravesh Mehta from Faridabad and Abash Chandela from Tigaon.

In the first list that was released on Monday, AAP announced candidates for some prominent seats in the state, like Bhiwani, Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, and Ballabhgarh.

Gurpal Singh has been fielded from Naraingarh, Anurag Dhandha from Kalayat, Narender Sharma from Pundri, Jaipal Sharma from Gharaunda, Amandeep Jundla from Assandh, Bittu Pahalwan from Samalkha, Pawan Fauji from Uchana Kalan, Kuldeep Gadrana from Dabwali, and Happy Raina from Rania seat. While Indu Sharma has been fielded from Bhiwani, Bijender Hooda from Rohtak, Kuldeep Chikara from Bahadurgarh, Manish Yadav from Mahendragarh, Dharmendra Khatana from Sohna, and Ravinder Faujdar from Ballabhgarh.

The nomination window for the 90-member Haryana Assembly Haryana Assembly polls is closing on September 12, Thursday. The state is scheduled to go to polls on October 5.

In the 2019 Haryana polls, the AAP had contested 46 seats, but failed to taste success.
