Haryana Elections: BS Hooda granted Leader Of Opposition status
Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda is all set to be declared the Leader of the opposition in Haryana. The decision comes in ahead of the elections.

In wake of Haryana Elections, Congress leer Bhupinder Singh Hooda has been declared Leer of opposition in Haryana. In a letter, speaker of Haryana Legislative Assembly has asked Bhupinder Singh Hooda to be declared leer of opposition in state. decision comes in just days after Bhupinder Singh was declared Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leer in Haryana.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda to be leer of opposition
letter states that decision is carried out in terms of section(2d) of Indian Constitution of Haryana Legislative Assembly (allowances and pension members) Act,1975. It also demands that Bhupinder Singh Hooda be entitled to facilities and allowances as per Haryana Legislative Assembly (allowances and pension members) Act,1975.

Hooda opposes Congress’s stand on Article 370
decision to declare him leer of opposition comes just weeks after Bhupinder Singh Hooda supported centre’s move on Article 370. Supporting Narendra Modi Government on Article 370, Hooda h said that, “If Union government does something right, I appreciate it. When y removed Article 370, a lot of my colleagues opposed it. My party lost its way and is t Congress that was re before. I will t compromise with anyone when it comes to patriotism and self-respect. On this, I supported ( Centre’s stand on) Article 370." His statements come in just months ahe of crucial assembly elections in Haryana. Bhupinder Singh Hooda has was Chief Minister of Haryana from 2005 to 2014.
