Kiren Rijiju says he is confident about Bhartiya Janata Party's win

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said he is confident about BJP winning assembly polls in both Maharashtra and Haryana. He also said that the exit polls show win

After voting ended in Haryana and Maharashtra on Monday, October 21, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju expressed his confidence about BJP's victory in both states. "Well, exit polls are showing a clear victory for BJP which is very good, country is moving in right direction and under leership of PM Narendra Modi Ji, India is marching ahe", Rijiju said while interacting with reporters in New Delhi.

"body wants to stop progress of India, why would somebody try to create obstacle in growth of country when India is today moving in direction and speed which we have never seen before. nation is backing him (Modi), it is very natural," he ded.

As per projections of exit poll, National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is projected to win an overall of 216 to 230 seats with BJP alone expected to hold a significant majority of around 135 to 142 seats. BJP's saffron alliance partner Shiv Sena is estimated to secure around 81 to 88 seats in Maharashtra. Shar Pawar's NCP is predicted to win 30 to 35 seats. According to Jan ki Baat exit-poll projection, 90 seat assembly of Haraya may see BJP emerging victorious with a majority.  exit poll projects that  BJP is projected to win 52-63 seats, INC is expected to win 15-19 seats, JJP is expected to win 5-9 seats while Independent candidates and smaller parties are likely to win 7-9 seats. BJP is likely to get highest vote share with 56% of votes, followed by INC with 18%, INLD 7%, JJP 10%, and or parties and candidates are likely to win 9% of votes.
