Bangladesh PM Hasina Sets Foot In India to Attend Modi 3.0 Oath Ceremony on June 9
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi this afternoon to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minsiter-designate Narendra Modi.

New Delhi: Banglesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi this afternoon to attend oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi for historic third term on evening of June 9.
Ministry of External Affairs took to X and confirmed arrival of Banglesh PM. It wrote, “First distinguished guest sets foot in New Delhi for swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. PM Sheikh Hasina of Banglesh warmly received by Secy (CPV & OIA) @mukteshpardeshi as she arrived in New Delhi. This visit of one of our most valued partners will furr strengn India-Banglesh's close and deep-rooted bonds of friendship.”

PM Modi will take oath, along with Council of Ministers in his new cabiner, during a grand ceremony. He will become first three-term Prime Minister since Congress stalwart Jawaharlal Nehru.
It comes after BJP won 240 seats in Lok Sabha elections and NDA togar bagged 293 seats, more than required (272) to form government at Centre.

Neigbouring Leers to Attend Oath Event
India on Friday formally announced that leers of seven countries from neighbourhood and Indian Ocean region will attend ceremony.
Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, his Maldivian counterpart Mohamed Muizzu, Bangleshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will attend ceremony, according to Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, his Bhutanese counterpart Tshering Tobgay and Vice-President of Seychelles Ahmed Afif have also accepted India's invitation to grace swearing-in ceremony, it said.
Hasina arrived in New Delhi this afternoon. Afif is scheduled to reach national capital on Saturday. or leers will arrive on Sunday. PM Modi is expected to hold separate meetings with visiting leers.
