Hamirpur Election Result 2024 LIVE: Hamirpur is one of the four Lok Sabha constituencies in Himachal Pradesh. The local economy is largely based on agriculture and small-scale industries, with tourism playing a crucial role as well. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Hamirpur went to polls in the seventh phase on 1st June. Notable candidates in this election are Anurag Thakur (BJP), Satpal Raizada (INC), and Hem Raj (BSP). The constituency has been a stronghold of Thakur who in 2019 secured his third term with 682,692 votes, while his rival, Ram Lal Thakur of the Congress, received 283,120 votes. The voter turnout was recorded at 72.83 per cent. Meanwhile, during the 2014 elections, Anurag won by a margin of 98,000 votes, garnering 448,000 votes against Congress candidate Rajendra Singh Rana's 349,000 votes. Kamal Kant Batra of AAP finished third with approximately 15,000 votes. Over the past four elections, the BJP has won this seat with an average margin of 80,000 votes.

I am thankful to the people of Himachal Pradesh and Hamirpur for blessing me for the fifth time. I will be working for the next 5 years for the people of Hamirpur...NDA will cross 300 seats and form the Govt once again..."

• Supporters of Union Minister and BJP candidate for the Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat, Anurag Thakur, begin a celebration outside the party's office in Hamirpur. 

• As per the latest ECI trends, Anurag Thakur is leading by a margin of 1,45,757 votes. In an interaction with ANI, he said, "In Himachal Pradesh, BJP is leading in all four Lok Sabha seats...NDA is leading in the country...Under the leadership of PM Modi, NDA-BJP will form the government again...Congress party is not even close to winning 100 Lok Sabha seats...I am thankful to the public of Hamirpur who has given me a strong lead....The results in Himachal Pradesh and BJP are in favour of BJP..."
