Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Odisha was hit by a saffron "tsunami" and there is no doubt about the BJP forming government in the state. The Lok Sabha and assembly elections are held simultaneously in the state. Sarma, who has been campaigning in Odisha for the past few days, said, “When I held the first election meeting in Odisha, I saw a small wave in favour of the BJP. But today, I saw a tsunami for the BJP in Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak and Jagatsinghpur areas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on May 29 again to address public meetings in Baripada, Balasore and Kendrapara for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 campaigns of the BJP.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: A 63.37 per cent overall voter turnout was recorded in Phase 6 of of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, as per the Election Commission of India.

“The TMC and good governance have no relation. You won't find good governance in Bengal even under a microscope. The TMC works only for its vote bank and can never do anything for the youths of the state. The party has any vision,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday during a rally in West Bengal.

The prime minister said TMC and the Left are the same, as “both indulge in vote-bank politics.”

“They are known for their undemocratic means and disregard for the democratic process,” the PM added.

“Have received phenomenal support from the people across West Bengal during entire campaign. The mood in Jadavpur is no different. TMC, Left and Congress are set to be defeated,” posted PM Modi on X after his West Bengal campaign today. “Barasat welcomed me with great warmth today!” the PM said in a separate post, also tweeting, “Moved by the affection of people at the huge rally in Barasat. It is a clear indication of which way the wind is blowing in West Bengal.”

"Prime Minister Modi has ended a culture of appeasement that prospered during the opposition-ruled era. Now the government works to empower the last person in the last queue. There is no discrimination with anybody when it comes to the distribution of benefits of government schemes to eligible beneficiaries. There is equitable public service delivery to all. Minorities and people living in opposition parties-ruled states are also getting benefits of different central government schemes," Union Minister Jitendra Singh told PTI.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been constantly campaigning for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 for the past several months, will meditate at Rock Memorial, a monument built in tribute to Swami Vivekananda, in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, after his campaign trail ends on May 30. PM Modi will meditate from the evening of May 30 to the evening of June 1 at Dhyan Mandapam.

Dumka, Jharkhand: PM Modi says, "... People of the INDI alliance give reservation to Muslims on the basis of religion... I want to tell the people of INDI alliance that as long as Modi is alive, you will not be able to snatch away the reservation of Tribals, Dalits, backward classes and extremely backward classes and give it to Muslims, to those who do 'vote jihad'..."

"Now there is a big crisis of infiltrators in Jharkhand. Our Santhal Pargana is facing the challenge of infiltrators a lot. In many areas, the number of tribals is decreasing rapidly and the number of infiltrators is increasing. Are the tribal lands being taken over by infiltrators or not?" PM said in Dumka.

Speaking ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Jharkhand's Dumka, where he said that scams were a regular thing before 2014 as Congress was indulged in looting people 24*7.

"Scams were routine before 2014 as Congress indulged in loot 24x7, Modi stopped it," he said.

“JMM, Congress, RJD are openly threatening. They say that Modi has to be removed and the reason why they want to remove me is so that they can get a chance to do scams again. I just want to ask you, will you allow the scams to happen? JMM and Congress are looting Jharkhand in every way,” the PM added.

Speaking ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Jharkhand's Dumka, where he said that scams were a regular thing before 2014 as Congress was indulged in looting people 24*7.

"In the next five years, we have to take forward the work done in the last 10 years. I have taken a resolution to make three crore mothers, sisters 'lakhpati didi'," he added. 

Addressing an election rally in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur, BJP national chief said, "The BJP, under the leadership of PM Modi, has changed the country's political discussion, political narrative, political communication. We should all keep this in mind."

Addressing an election rally on Tuesday in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath said, "When we raised the issue of terrorism in Parliament during Congress' time, they used to say that terrorists are from the other side of the border and today, terrorism and naxalism have been weeded out under the leadership of Modiji. Now, Pakistan gives explanations even if a cracker bursts here in the country."

When asked to speak on Congress and Rahul Gandhi, NJP Leader C R Kesavan said, "Rahul Gandhi is one of a kind politician, who seems to be getting immature with age….Rahul Gandhi is out on bail in the National Herald case, he has been questioned by ED for 55 hours...Look at the history of Rahul’s Congress and Nehru’s Congress."

"These were the same people who opposed the construction of Somnath and said it was Hindu revivalism…It was Rahul Gandhi’s UPA government, which filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court saying, that there is no historical proof of Lord Ram and that Rahul Gandhi is in alliance with DMK, whose leaders have spewed venom on the Hindu religion….The real ‘parmatma’ in democracy are the people… On 4th June, people will reject Rahul Gandhi and the INDI alliance," he added. 

Speaking ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Lalu Prasad Yadav said, "We will know the results soon. PM Modi is gone now. PM Modi is saying that he is not biological, he is an 'avatar'...our government will be formed on June 4."

PM Modi in conversation with ANI spoke on his relations with Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, he said, "We have good relations with the leaders of all the political parties of India and in a democracy we do not have enmity. Now the question is whether I should maintain my relations or worry about the fate of Odisha. I chose to devote myself to the bright future of Odisha and if I have to sacrifice my relations for that, I will sacrifice them and after the elections, I will convince everyone that I have no enmity with anyone."

On his decision to remove Article 370, PM Narendra Modi said, "Article 370 was the agenda of only 4-5 families, it was neither the agenda of the people of Kashmir nor the agenda of the people of the country. For their benefit, they had built such a wall of 370 and used to say that if 370 is removed, there will be a fire...Today it has become true that after the removal of 370, there is a feeling of more unity. The feeling of belongingness is increasing among the people of Kashmir and hence its direct result is also visible in elections, and tourism."

Speaking on sharp personal attacks by the opposition, the Prime Minister said, "As far as Modi is concerned, after being continuously abused for the last 24 years, I have become 'gaali proof'. Who called me the 'maut ka saudaagar' and 'gandi naali ka keeda'? Our party member in the parliament did the calculation and counted 101 abuses, so whether there is election or no election, these people (Opposition) believe that only they have the right to abuse and they have become so frustrated that now abusing has become their nature."

When asked about the reservation issue, PM Modi said, ".I want to alert the SC, ST, OBC & other backward-class people because by keeping them in darkness they (opposition) are looting them. Election is such a time, that I should make the countrymen aware of the biggest crisis that is coming. Therefore, I have been explaining this to the people. The basic spirit of the Constitution of India is being violated and that too for the sake of vote bank politics... Those who call themselves well-wishers of the Dalits, Tribals, are in reality their staunch enemies...There is an imprint of the Muslim League in their manifesto...Do you want to destroy the coming generations also for the sake of vote bank?... I will fight for the rights of my Dalit, Tribal, OBC brothers and sisters. And that's why I'm fighting the battle."

“They have committed this sin. I am speaking against that and that's why they have to use such things to lie,”he added.

In the candid conversation with ANI, when asked to speak about the 'aakhri daur' (last stage) of the Lok Sabha elections, PM said "You used the word 'aakhri daur', I can see a lot of things in it- one that it indicates our new era will start. Second, those who were dreaming and making tall promises, it will be their 'aakhri daur' as well. 'Chunav ka aakhri daur nahi hain, unki sthitiyo ka bhi aakhri daur hain'..."

Speaking to ANI ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi exuded confidence in BJP'w win West Bengal. He said, "TMC party is fighting for survival in the Bengal elections. This time, the best-performing state in India is going to be West Bengal. BJP is getting maximum success in West Bengal."

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party's Chief Akhilesh Yadav will address election rallies in Uttar Pradesh's Rudrapur and Gangapur on May 28. 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is all set to address rallies in Odisha's Chandbali, Panikoili and Nimapada.
