Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday thanked the people of the state for making the ruling Congress victorious in eight of the 17 Lok Sabha seats and also in the bypolls to Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency. The voters have blessed the 100-day rule of the Congress government in the state, Revanth Reddy, who is also president of Congress in Telangana, said in a statement.

Asaduddin Owaisi leading by over 3.15 lakh votes in Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat
AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi was leading by 3,15,811 votes against his nearest BJP rival K Madhavi Latha at 3.05 PM in the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency in Telangana as the counting of votes was underway.
Owaisi got 6,12,842, while Madhavi Latha secured 2,97,031 votes, according to the Election Commission website.

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi maintained his lead against his nearest BJP rival K Madhavi Latha by over 70,000 votes as per the Election Commission website.
The BJP candidates were leading in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Chevella and Mahabubnagar LS seats.
The Congress nominees were leading in Peddapalle (SC), Mahabubabad (ST), Warangal (SC), Bhongir, Khammam, Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool (SC) and Zaheerabad.

Stage set for counting of votes of Lok Sabha elections in Telangana
Telangana voted to on May 13 to elect 17 members of Parliament from the state and now the stage is all set for commencement of counting of votes from 8 am.
