Thane Election Result 2024: Shiv Sena's Mhaske Leads, Trends Show

Thane Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: A highly significant seat among the 48 parliamentary constituencies in Maharashtra, voting in Thane took place during the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha polls on May 20, 2024, and counting for the same started at 08:00 on June 4. In 2019, the constituency had 23,70,903 registered voters as opposed to 24,81,776 in 2024. In 2019, the constituency was won by Rajan Baburao Vichare from the Shiv Sena, now Shiva Sena (UBT). This year, Vichare faced competition on the seat from the likes of Naresh Ganpat Mhaske, former mayor of Thane and Shiv Sena leader.

As of 18:03 on June 4, ECI data indicates that Vichare will likely lose the competition in Thane to Shiv Sena's Naresh Ganpat Mhakse, with the latter leading the former by over two lakh votes.

• Shiv Sena candidate Naresh Ganpat Mhakse retains his lead, now up by 1,47,514 votes.
