Mumbai: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 are being held today, on November 20 in a single phase for all 228 constituencies. To encourage locals to step out of ir houses and vote for ir desired candidates and political parties, over 50 restaurants in Maharashtra capital Mumbai have announced a ‘democracy discount’ of 20%. Maharashtra Elections: Mumbai Restaurants Announce 20% Discount for Voters
Mumbai Chapter of National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) has launched an initiative to promote voting and encourage a higher voter turnout. Under this initiative, all those customers who show ir inked finger and ir voter ID at participating restaurant, will avail a 20 percent discount on ir dine-in bill. This offer is valid for two days - November 20 and November 21.
