Maharashtra: Devendra Fadnavis declared assets of over Rs 3.86 crore in his election affidavit on Friday as he filed nomination from Nagpur South West assembly

Devendra Fnavis declared assets of over Rs 3.86 crore in his election affidavit as he filed his mination from Nagpur South West assembly constituency on October 4. His affidavit put his immovable assets at 3.78 crores, against Rs 1.81 crore in 2014. increase was mainly due to a rise in market value of se properties including land, it said.
Chief Minister's assets increased over past five years
It was furr declared that Chief Minister has Rs 17,500 "cash in hand", and bank deposits of Rs 8,29,665, against Rs 1,19,630 in 2014, affidavit stated. This increase was attributed to rise in salary and allowances of state legislators. His wife Amruta Fnavis owns immovable assets worth Rs 99.3 lakh, affidavit said. She h declared immovable assets of Rs 42.60 lakh in 2014. value of shares held by CM's wife increased to Rs 2.33 crore against Rs 1.66 crore last time, affidavit said. She also has Rs 12,500 cash in hand, and bank deposits worth Rs 3,37,025 against Rs 1,00,881 in 2014.

Four private complaints filed against Devendra Fnavis
Chief Minister mentioned in his mination papers that re were four private complaints filed against him -- three by Satish Ukey and one by Mohnish Jabalpure. Supreme Court earlier this week remanded one of complaints filed bu Ukey to judicial magistrate for fresh consideration. All se are private complaints (which are t investigated by police unless ordered by a court), and t a single FIR has been registered against Fnavis, affidavit said.

Aitya Thackeray's total assets
Shiv Sena youth leer Aitya Thackeray on October 3 filed his mination for Maharashtra Assembly polls, declaring his total property close to 16 crores in affidavit. Shiv Sena youth chief has declared that he has Rs 11.38 crore worth movable assets and Rs 4.67 crore worth immovable assets. As per affidavit submitted by Aitya Thackeray, he owns bank deposits worth Rs 10.36 crore, and bond shares Rs 20.39 lakhs. Furrmore, he owns a BMW car worth Rs 6.5 lakh, along with jewellery and or valuables worth Rs. 64.64 lakh. Aitya Thackeray has stated that he does t have any criminal cases against him.
