Maharashtra Exit Poll 2024: As the race for the Maharashtra Assembly heats up, Exit Polls are offering a glimpse into what could unfold on election day. Both MATRIZE and P-MARQ Exit Polls predict a competitive battle between the BJP -led Mahayuti alliance and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), with the former slightly favored to secure a win.

Let's have a look at what the exit polls predicts for the Mumbai region.

MATRIZE Exit Poll: Mahayuti Set for a Clear Victory in Mumbai

According to the MATRIZE exit poll, the Mahayuti alliance, which includes the BJP, is projected to dominate the Mumbai region.

The alliance is expected to secure between 20 and 26 seats, capturing an impressive 47% of the vote share.

In contrast, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), comprising Congress , Shiv Sena (UBT), and NCP, is predicted to win between 9 and 15 seats, with a 40% vote share.

Independent candidates, according to MATRIZE, may secure just 0 to 1 seat.

Seat predictions for Mumbai under MATRIZE

- BJP: 13-15 seats (24% vote share)
- Shiv Sena (UBT): 5-7 seats (23% vote share)
- Shiv Sena: 7-9 seats (21% vote share)
- Congress: 4-6 seats (13% vote share)
- NCP (SP): 0-1 seat (4% vote share)
- NCP: 0-2 seats (2% vote share)
- MNS: 0-1 seat (vote share not specified)

P-MARQ's exit poll also leans in favor of the Mahayuti alliance, which is expected to win between 137 and 157 seats statewide. 
In the Mumbai region, the alliance is predicted to secure between 16 and 24 seats. The MVA is expected to lag behind, with a projected 12 to 20 seats in the city.

In the Mahayuti alliance, the BJP is contesting 148 seats, Eknath Shinde 's Shiv Sena 80 seats, and Ajit Pawar 's Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) 53 seats. Five seats have gone to other Mahayuti allies, while no decision was taken on two seats.

In the MVA, the Congress is fighting on 103 seats, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena on 89 seats, and Sharad Pawar 's NCP on 87 seats. Six seats were given to other MVA allies, while there was no clarity on three assembly segments.

The Maharashtra election results will be declared on November 23.
