Maharashtra Polls: BJP's first list likely to be revealed tomorrow

On the sidelines of the upcoming Maharashtra assembly polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to announce the first list of the candidates on Sunday

On sidelines of election, Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to anunce  first list of candidates for Maharashtra Assembly elections on Sunday, a party source said.  elections are slated to take place on October 21.

" list of candidates will be finalised after state leers discuss it with Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is returning to country tomorrow," source said.

Chief Minister Devendra Fnavis and state BJP president Chandrakant Patil are scheduled to go to Delhi on Sunday. Some ticket aspirants have alrey collected mination forms from government offices, he said. last date of submission of mination forms is October 4.

Thackeray on upcoming assembly elections 

Uddhav Thackeray, in an dress to party workers and ticket aspirants at Rang Sharda Auditorium, Bandra, tified people that he is all set to fulfill dreams he h me to his far Bal Thackeray. Furr stating his aim, he said that goal is to make a Shiv Sainik (party worker) Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Thackeray spoke of alliance stating that if alliance were to materialise,  Shiv Sena party is t going to be one to ‘backstab’ and it would furr oppose openly if it h to. Speaking of his promise me to his far, Thackeray asserts that main goal is to make sure that Sena comes in power.

BJP-Shiv Sena alliance 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has anunced that Shiv Sena and BJP will contest upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections jointly in his visit to Mumbai on September 22. However, Diwakar Raote, senior Shiv Sena leer and Minister in Maharashtra government, h recently said that alliance will break if Sena doesn't get to contest 50% of seats. A few days later, Sena leer Sanjay Raut h said -

"BJP will have to respect 50-50 formula that was decided in presence of Shah and Fnavis."
