NCP Chief Sharad Pawar congratulates Hemant Soren, predicts reduction of BJP's footprint

On Tuesday, December 24, NCP supremo Shar Pawar congratulated Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leer Hemant Soren on victory of Opposition alliance in Jharkhand. Soren was CM face of Opposition alliance comprising JMM, Congress, and Rashtriya Janata Dal. Pawar claimed that people’s mandate h ushered in a new pattern. Furrmore, he predicted that BJP would lose power in more states in future.

'Jharkhand has set an example'
dressing a press conference in Mumbai on Monday, NCP chief congratulated people of Jharkhand for voting out ruling BJP. He ted that his party h mand to win one seat in state despite having very little presence. According to NCP supremo, Centre’s mishandling of ecomy was one of main reasons for this change. Maintaining that re was need for Citizenship Amendment Act at this moment, he opined that people would give a fitting response to BJP whenever it got chance.

Shar Pawar said, “I congratulate people of Jharkhand. NCP does t have much of a presence re. We have one seat. Among reasons for this change, I feel that that Centre has mishandled ecomy. investment has started to reduce. common people are having to pay price for this. CAA was t needed w.” He ded, “Whenever people get a chance, y will answer as y did in Jharkhand. Jharkhand has set an example.”

Jharkhand Assembly election was conducted in 5 phases. approximate voter turut for all 81 assembly constituencies of Jharkhand was 65.17%. opposition alliance secured 47 seats, which is more than halfway mark in Jharkhand Assembly with a combined vote share of 35.35%. Hemant Soren himself won from two constituencies. On or hand, BJP won from only 25 constituencies with a vote share of 33.37%.
