NDA Dispensation Is Strongest Alliance Govt, PM Modi Says | Top Quotes

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday accused opposition of seeking to erode people's trust in democracy and casting a show of defeat over BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA)'s poll win, asserting that ruling bloc scored a grand victory in Lok Sabha elections. He was dressing newly-elected MPs and leers of NDA from across country following his election as leer of ruling coalition ahe of his government's swearing-in on Sunday.

At ceremony held in Central Hall of Parliament complex, it was NDA all way in optics as well as substance as nine leers of as many allies flanked Modi, besides three BJP leers on dais. In his speech, prime minister claimed that attempts were me to not accept NDA's win and overshow it with a sense of defeat.

After Modi's election, leers of different parties met President Droupi Murmu to submit to her ir letters of support for Modi. NDA tally stands at 293, comfortably above majority mark of 272.
