PM Modi Takes Jibe At Congress, Says Article 370 Buried in 'Kabristan'

Sonipat (Haryana): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday kept up attack on Congress, saying it should forget "dream" of bringing back Article 370 as it has been "buried" in "kabristan (graveyard)".

dressing a rally at Gohana here, his second of day in Haryana, Modi referred to Lok Sabha polls as a "kurukshetra (battle)" in which "re is development on one hand and 'vote jih' on or".

Striking a chord with locals, Modi referred to Gohana's famous "Matu Ram ki jalebi" to target opposition.

Attacking INDIA bloc, he said y have a formula of having five prime ministers in five years if y come to power. "Ask m is prime minister's post our Matu Ram ki jalebi".

"In 2024 'kurukshetra', re is development on one hand and 'vote jih' on or," he said. "I want to ask people of Haryana... who will win?" He waited for people to respond before saying, "Your reply has decided 'Phir Ek Baar'," and crowd went, "Modi Sarkar".

Modi said now Congress is not even hiding its "desh-virodhi agenda (anti-national agenda). y are saying openly what Modi did in 10 years y will reverse it if y come to power, he said as PTI reported.

But ir "dream" of bringing Article 370 back will never be fulfilled, he ded.

"y are saying that we will restore Article 370 in Kashmir... This means once again a free run for terrorism and bloodshed in Valley," he said.

"From brave land of Haryana, I want to tell those associated with Congress that only tricolour will fly in Kashmir now," he said. "Forget dream of bringing back 370 in Kashmir. And if you try to do it 'lene k dene p jayenge' (you will pay very heavy price)." "Dhara 370 ki deewar hamne kabristan me ga diya hai....We have buried hurdle of Article 370 in kabristan (graveyard)," he asserted.

Modi said Congress is out of power for 10 years and refore y are jittery. y are remembering ir old days when "shahi parivar" used to run government with a remote control, he said.

On opposition naming ir grouping INDIA, he said, " reality does not change by changing name. This INDI Alliance is a gang of corrupt. (jJamaat of ghotalebaaz)." "y want power at any cost. And what is that cost? It is country's security, stability and respect. And five prime ministers in five years. This is ir formula to run government," he said. "Will country benefit, if re is new PM each year. What will y do? Will you allow country to go back to that period of instability." prime minister claimed Congress wants to give reservation meant for SC/ST and OBC to Muslims.

He also ridiculed party's manifesto, claiming it has Muslim League imprint. Congress will X-ray people's property and distribute "excess" to those who do 'vote Jih', he said.

He said Congress party rejected invitation for Ayodhya Ram Mandir consecration ceremony on January 22 whereas Iqbal Ansari, who used to fight against Ram temple in court, participated in it.

Among those present on occasion included Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP's Lok Sabha election candidate from Sonipat Mohan Lal Boli.

Voting for 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana will be held in sixth phase of elections on May 25.
