Samajwadi Party chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav has levelled a political jibe at the BJP on the back of this week's stupendous global astronomical feat wherein a black hole was 'photographed' for the first time.
On Thursday, even as the 2019 Lok Sabha elections kicked off in Uttar Pradesh which will witness polling in all seven phases, Akhilesh Yadav cited how even the cosmic phenomenon had now been witnessed, contrasting this with BJP's 2014 poll promise of 'acche din'.

The photo of the black hole went viral all over social media when it was released two days ago. It was unveiled by the Event Horizon Telescope. Scientists, for the first time, have released the photo which captures the swirling lights around the event horizon of galaxy M87's supermassive black hole which is located 57 million light years away.
Akhilesh Yadav isn't the only politician to leverage the black hole photo for a political attack. Mumbai Congress chief Milind Deora has also used the same photo to make a similar point about his upcoming Mumbai South Lok Sabha poll opponent - Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant.
