On March 8 2019, a five-member Constitution SC Bench h issued an order appointing a three-member mediation panel consisting of retired Supreme Court Justice Fakkir Mohamed Ibrahim Kalifulla, spiritual guru and founder of Art of Living Foundation- Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and senior Mras High Court vocate Sriram Panchu. panel was given an 8-week deline to conclude with mediation in utmost confidentiality.

Before this SC order, Subramanian Swamy h said in an interview with Republic TV, that he expected Ram Mandir debate to be a pre-poll resolution.

" title holder claimants need 8 weeks more to check translation from documents. During se 8 weeks, court wants to explore. But my opinion is that it's a waste of time because land has alrey been nationalised by government", he said, highlighting his disapproval of mediation process.
Swamy h reiterated his belief saying,” Ram Mandir being constructed is certain, it's only a matter of time”.

While mediation process has started on 13 March 2019 at Awh University at Faizab, Uttar Presh with committee members and its stakeholders, committee has directed that re should t be any reporting of mediation proceedings in print or or media, invoking utmost confidentiality.
