Shiv Sena on Saturday released its party manifesto 'Vachannama 2019' ahe of Maharashtra assembly elections. manifesto was released by party chief Uddhav Thackeray and Yuva Sena chief Aitya Thackeray.

During launch of manifesto, Aitya Thackery said that party' top priorities are electricity rates, nutritionist meals, transport for students, farmers' issues and Fasal Bima Yojna. He also promised that party will fulfill all of ir promises mentioned in manifesto. Aitya Thackeray is contesting for election for first time from Worli constituency. Aitya also ded that although this manifesto is for entire state of Maharashtra, smaller manifesto will soon be released for separate regions including Mumbai.
Speaking about top priorities listed in manifesto itya said, "Domestic electricity consumption rate at 300 units will be reduced by 30 per cent from 20 per cent. needy farmers will be provided with 10,000 per year. Rates of fertilizers, pesticides will be same for next five years. It will t increase or fluctuate." "re are buses for students to go from vill to college for schooling. Special bus service will be launched for m," he ded.

Shiv Sena to contest from 124 constituencies, BJP from 150
Chief Minister Devendra Fnavis, on Friday, October 4, declared Shiv Sena will contest for polls from 124 constituencies, BJP will contest from 150 and its allies will contest from 14 constituencies, at a joint press conference in Mumbai. Fnavis also anunced all BJP allies will fight elections under BJP's symbol. press briefing was chaired by Chief Minister and Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray. Shiv Sena Chief also dispelled rumours of Aitya being considered a Chief Ministerial candidate.

Maharashtra polls on October 21
Maharashtra which has 288 Assembly seats will go to polls on October 21, 2019. Maharashtra assembly elections will be held in a single-phase and counting procedure would be conducted on October 24. last date of mination was on October 4. EC informed that parties in Maharashtra h wanted polls to be concluded by Dhanteras.
