Sonali Phogat loses Adampur seat to Cong's Kuldeep in Haryana
TikTok star Sonali Phogat who had secured a BJP ticket for the Adampur seat in Haryana has lost to the three-time MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi from the Congress party.

TikTok star Sonali Phogat who h secured a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket for ampur seat in Haryana has lost to three-time MLA Kuldeep Bishi from Congress party. Speaking about losing seat, Phogat said, " results for all seats have t been declared yet, trends show 35 to 36 seats for BJP w. BJP will surely secure majority vote share. We tried our best to get involved with people in this year’s election and we accept people’s decision. We will try harder in next term."
According to Election Commission of India, Phogat lost with 27.80 percent of votes. Bishi, on or hand, has bagged 51.66 percent of votes in state for ampur constituency. Although TikTok sensation has secured 34,169 votes, Bishi has secured 63,483 votes, bagging ampur seat. According to reports, based on her popularity in Haryana, BJP h given her a ticket to contest elections. Apart from being a TikTok sensation and a TV personality, Phogat is National Vice President of BJP's Mahila Morcha. She is also in charge of Scheduled Tribe wing of Haryana, New Delhi.

Bishi confident on winning
Speaking to Republic TV on Thursday, Congress leer Kuldeep Bishi who is contesting from Haryana's ampur constituency said that he is confident of winning seat. He furr ded that he did t enjoy fighting polls against his opponent Sonali Phogat. "I have been blessed by my supporters of ampur. I am leing with 16,000 votes in five rounds. I can't be more thankful to my supporters," said Bishi.

In Haryana Assembly elections, ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is contesting against opposition Congress and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). current term for Haryana's Assembly will come to an end on vember 2. Furr, out of 90 Assembly constituencies in state, 17 seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 73 seats fall under General category.
