Telangana Election Results 2023: Congress 'hand' stops BRS 'car'

‘hand’ of Congress party has stopped Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) ‘car’ in Telangana as election commission counting trends showed grand old party comfortably reaching majority mark. 

Congress is leing on 65 seats while BRS on 38 and BJP leing on 10, as per ECI.

Telangana Congress President, Anumula Revanth Reddy is leing from Kamareddy seat leaving CM KCR trailing behind.

Revanth Reddy is MP in Lok Sabha from Congress representing Malkajgiri Constituency. Earlier, he was a two-time MLA in Andhra Presh Assembly from TDP in 2009 and 2014 and in Telangana Assembly between 2014 and 2018 representing Kodangal Constituency.

He left TDP and joined Congress in 2017. In June 2021, he was appointed as president of Telangana Presh Congress Committee replacing N. Uttam Kumar Reddy.

Telangana Election Results 2023: KTR leing Sircilla seat

Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) is leing from Sircilla, which is considered one of most important seats. KTR fought from same seat in 2018 elections and won.

Payal Shanker from BJP is leing on ilab seat while Dhanpal Suryanarayana leing from Nizamab (Urban). Jaffar Hussain from AIMIM is leing on Yakutpura seat. 

Celebrations were seen outside Congress office in Hyderab over party crossing halfway mark comfortably. party cre chanted "Bye bye KCR".

Telangana election results will be important for Congress as it hes into 2024 Lok Sabha elections. A win in Karnataka and Telangana would furr concrete its presence in South.
