Manav Mehta in Taal

Taal is the 1999 musical-drama film co-written and directed by Subhash Ghai. The film was a big turning point in Akshaye Khanna’s career. It was also premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival. Akshaye played the role of Manav who hails from a wealthy family and falls in love with a small-town girl on a family trip. The soundtrack of the film went on to become very popular. It was composed by A.R Rahman.  

Siddharth Sinha in Dil Chahta Hai

Dil Chahta Hai is has received a cult status over the years. The film has brought a huge change in the Indian cinema. Akshaye Khanna played the character of Siddharth Sinha, who is a painter and falls in love with a divorced woman. His excellent performance is still remembered by the audience.

Dev Verma in Ittefaq

Ittefaq is inspired by the 1969 Yash Chopra’s super-hit film with the same name. It stars Akshaye Khanna, Siddharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. Akshaye played the role of a CBI officer Dev Verma who is assigned with a mysterious murder case in the city. He portrayed the character of a cop with complete perfection and kept the eyes of the audience locked on him. He was praised for his brave performance and the film opened to positive reviews.
