Singer nan Sami, who reunced Pakistani nationality to become an Indian citizen a few years back, is on Twitter trends list in Pakistan. Reason? singer is being trolled for changing his Twitter display picture posing with Indian flag.

A user from Pakistan @mshafique asked nan Sami about his far's details and he gave it back to him by saying that his far was born in India and died in India. For those unaware, nan Sami’s far, Arsh Sami Khan, a Pashtun served as Pakistani Air Force pilot and later became a Pakistani diplomat and bureaucrat. He served 3 Presidents of Pakistan as ir aide-de-camp. He n joined Ministry of Foreign Affairs as chief of protocol.

Sami was born in London to a Pakistani diplomat far and his mor was from Jammu and Kashmir. singer relocated to India in late 1990s and took Indian nationality on January 1, 2016 after giving up his Pakistani citizenship.
On August 14 (Pakistan's Independence Day), a user asked nan Sami why he doesn't tweet on India's Independence Day, to which he said, he will on August 15. Sami gave it back to troll with an example of Jinnah.

Back in June, singer nan Sami's Twitter account was allegedly hacked on Tuesday by Ayyildiz Tim, same Turkish hacker group, Ayyildiz Tim, which attacked megastar Amitabh Bachchan's microblogging p a day ago.

Similar to how Bachchan's profile was compromised, group replaced Sami's profile picture with a photo of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and changed bio, ding "Ayyildiz Tim Love Pakistan" with an emoji of Pakistani and Turkish flags.
Sami previously held a Pakistani passport and received Indian citizenship in 2015.
