Reportedly, Malayalam film industry will be first film fraternity to resume working after Coronavirus lockdown.

Malayalam film industry to resume working after Coronavirus lockdown
It has come to everyone's tice that due to shutdown of various industry including film industry, small-time actors and daily w workers have lost ir only source of income. Even though entire Indian film industry is facing same problem, Malayalam film industry will be resuming ir work on production site when Coronavirus lockdown is lifted.

According to a recent anuncement made by Kerala's Cultural Affairs Minister, AK Balan, Malayalam film industry will resume post-production work of pending films. AK Balan anunced that industry shall continue working on films that are still pending.
According to reports, decision to resume post-production work was taken after a thorough meeting with Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan, during weekend.

Some rules are needed to be followed during post-production work. Social distancing will have to be maintained during post-production work as well. re will be a limited team of t more than six people who will be allowed to work on sets for post-production works including dubbing, re-recording and even editing. technicians will have to wear masks all times.
people working on sets will have to follow all precautions that will be provided by government to prevent spread of Coronavirus. Reportedly, Film Employees Federation of South India has also urged Tamil Nadu government to grant n permission to resume production work of movies and television shows.

According to reports, letter to Tamil Nadu government by RK Selvamani who is president of FEFSI association reads that due to lockdown, several workers in film industry have lost ir livelihood. It furr reads that with help of donation and funds, association mand to help workers survive during se tough times. It is also mentioned in letter that if situation continues to prevail, workers might die of hunger.
RK Selvamani has requested government to grant m permission to resume post-production works such as dubbing, re-recording and editing for films and TV soaps, which might eventually provide jobs to 40 per cent of workers. However, final decision is yet to be anunced by Tamil Nadu government.
