After Rajinikanth, Leo director Lokesh Kanagraj to collaborate with Prabhas for his next?

Lokesh Kanagraj is currently working with Vijay on his upcoming film Leo. Recently, there were rumours of the director collaborating with superstar Rajinikanth for his next. In addition, reports of Lokesh working with Prabhas are making rounds on the internet.

Lokesh is currently looking forward to the release of his action-thriller drama Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay. Produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio, the film also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Mysskin in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit theatres on October 19.

Prabhas, on the other hand, was last seen in Adipurush. The film was a debacle at the box office and was embroiled in the colloquial dialouge controversy. The actor will be next seen in Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel.

Who’s saying what? 

According to reports, Prabhas apparently heard Lokesh Kanagaraj tell him a one-liner, and the actor indicated interest in working with him. It is rumoured that a well-known Telugu production company is behind the movie, and it will undoubtedly be a pan-Indian drama.

After wrapping up Leo, Lokesh will reportedly start working on Rajinikanth's 171st movie, tentatively named Thalaivar 171. The filmmaker requested that fans wait until the film's formal announcement, despite giving a clue about it in one of his recent encounters. Thus, the commencement of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prabhas' movie might get delayed. 

Meanwhile...

On the work front, Prabhas is currently gearing up for the release of Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD. Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani all play major parts in the movie. He has Spirit, starring Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and a Telugu comedy film with director Maruthi scheduled after this.
