Coronavirus is an epidemic that has infected more than 7,00,000 people worldwide and has w reached India, as number of coronavirus cases in country has increased sharply to a reported 1,170 this week. While officials in capital, New Delhi, are exercising every right in ir authority to prevent local transmission of Coronavirus, it seems like citizens of country took are doing every bit in ir capacity to avoid spre of Coronavirus pandemic. Under guidance of actor Ajith Kumar, team Daksha is w preparing drones to disinfect Tamil Nu.

Team Daksha, which is a team of researchers from Mras Institute of Techlogy, has found a new way to stop local transmission of Coronavirus, as team is using drones to help disinfect public places in Tamil Nu. Team Daksha has won several medals and accoles at Drone Olympics in 2019 and is w using ir talent and drones for a bigger cause. Mentored by actor Ajith Kumar, team is helping Tamil Nu government by spraying disinfectants over large segments of state to curb spre of vel Coronavirus in state.

Heed by Dr. K Senthil Kumar, team reportedly consists of 70 members and is collaborating with state government to spray disinfectants, especially where human access is difficult. As mentioned by Arul Sengan in an interview, who is a project associate of Daksha, revealed that team has modified drones with special zzles to spray disinfectants. ding to same, Arul revealed that drones use petrol to fly and have covered around 3 lakh/sqm on Saturday. Arul confirmed that team successfully sprayed almost 900 liters of disinfectant.

Speaking about Kollywood actor, Ajith Kumar’s participation in project, Arul Sengan mentioned that actor visits unit as a technical visor. actor also gars as much information as he can on developments in UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) field and often shares updates with team.
