AHS Delicate new posters out, Kim Kardashian-Emma Roberts give a creepy twist to pregnancy

FX has unveiled the eagerly awaited release date for the 12th season of the acclaimed horror anthology series, American Horror Story. Titled AHS: Delicate, the series is created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Ahead of its release, the makers dropped the new posters of the lead actors.

Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian serve Arachnid glam in new posters

The first set of posters for AHS: Delicate gave a glimpse into the show starring Emma Roberts, Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian. Cara's character could be seen holding an oversized syringe. On the other hand, Roberts and Kardashian were depicted clutching giant spiders to their chests in a chillingly, motherly manner.

In both new posters, the women are posing like they are pregnant as they flaunt their fully grown "bumps". However, instead of the expected curvature of a belly, the photos reveal the large, rounded body of a spider with its legs sprawled around its "mother." This imagery raises intriguing questions about the upcoming storyline—is this imagery symbolic or does it hint at something more unsettling?

What is AHS: Delicate about?

AHS: Delicate draws inspiration from the novel Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine. The narrative revolves around a woman who undergoes IVF treatments in an attempt to get pregnant. After suffering a miscarriage, she experiences unsettling sensations of the baby still being present within her. This leads her to question whether something sinister is at play.

The cast of AHS: Delicate includes series regular Emma Roberts, along with newcomers Kim Kardashian and Cara Delevingne. Additionally, the show features Zachary Quinto, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Odessa A’zion, Debra Monk and Julie Monk.
