AR Rahman recalls working on 'Jai Ho', challenges Nicole Scherzinger to sing original song
AR Rahman recalled the days when he worked on the Oscar winning song 'Jai Ho' and how Danny Boyle had praised him after seeing the response the song received.

AR Rahman on a live chat session challenged Nicole Scherzinger and music composer Andrew Lloyd Weber to sing original version of Jai Ho! AR Rahman was chatting with Andrew Lloyd’s son, am Lloyd from his home in Chennai and exchanged tes on his far and composer. AR Rahman recalls working on 'Jai Ho'
In live session, AR’s Oscar-winning song, Jai Ho was mentioned and he was asked about memories he h from that time. Reminiscing days, he recalled having locked himself at his London studio for three weeks and working on song. He furr talked about how rapper M.I.A and Alka Yagnik h recorded for project from New York and Mumbai respectively. He said that it was an “intense post-production” and compared those days with current lockdown situation where everyone is recording and producing from ir respective homes and studios.

AR Rahman recalls receiving appreciation from Danny Boyle for 'Jai Ho'
AR Rahman recalled how Danny Boyle, Slumdog Millionaire’s film director, h called him from Toronto film festival after he saw response film’s music h received. In live chat session, AR Rahman said that it was because Danny Boyle does t use music like wallpaper in movies. AR Rahman said that he has worked hard for or films too but it got drowned, he felt like y received a step-morly treatment.

Recently, AR Rahman h taken to his social media account and h shared amount of hard work that goes behind making one song, a piece that is worth remembering by. Hours after release of recreated version of his Delhi 6 song Masakali, AR Rahman h penned down a te and requested his fans to listen to original song.

AR Rahman has often been vocal about how many of his original songs have been massacred whenever ir recreated versions have come. Although it must be ted, in an interview with a media portal, AR Rahman h me it clear that he is t against remakes or recreated versions but if millions of people do that n it gets repetitive and cliched.
