AR Rahman, Wife Saira Divorced After Nearly 30 Years Of Marriage, Lawyer Shares Official Statement

AR Rahman Divorce: Oscar-winning music composer and his wife Siara Rahman have reportedly separated after nearly three deces of togerness. Rahman and Saira married in Chennai in March 1995, three months after ir first meeting. Rahman and his wife share three kids - Khatija, Raheema and Ameen. Vandana Shah and Associates released an official statement regarding ir decision to separate. Rahman rarely posts photos with Saira on Instagram and she largely remains away from public eye.

 “After many years of marriage, Mrs. Saira has me difficult decision to separate from her husband Mr. A R. Rahman. This decision comes after significant emotional strain in ir relationship. Despite ir deep love for each or, couple has found that tensions and difficulties have created an insurmountable gap between m, one that neir party feels able to bridge at this time. Mrs. Saira emphasised that she has taken this decision out of pain and agony. Mrs Saira requests privacy and understanding from public during this challenging time, as she navigates this difficult chapter in her life,” statement re.

Rahman's mom and sister introduced Saira to him

Rahman, in an interview, shared that he was eager to get married when he was 27. As he turned a year older, he met Saira for first time after his mor introduced her to him as y met for first time in January 1995. Dil Se composer shared that it was his late mor and my sister Fathima who saw Saira for first time at shrine of Sufi saint Moti Baba in Chennai.
