Ariana Grande Opens Up About Ex-Boyfriend Mac Miller's Death

American vocalist Ariana Grande remembered her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller following his sudden demise on Friday, September 7. The 'No Tears Left to Cry' singer took to Instagram on Sunday, September 9, and shared a black and white snap of Mac Miller that showed the rapper looking up at the camera. The photograph was presumably captured by Grande herself and a pair of sneakers, apparently belonging to Grande is also visible at the bottom of the photograph. Although the post has no caption, the photograph itself says a thousand words about Grande's relationship with her former boyfriend and her grief about his shocking death. Moreover, the 'Sweetener' singer disabled her comments section after news of his death broke.

Grande's tribute came after her manager, Scooter Braun, paid homage to the late vocalist. Braun who posted a picture of Miller recording on Instagram that read, "This is a good man with a great heart. He will be missed and is gone way too soon. I'm angry to say RIP buddy." He captioned the post saying, "Always a kind heart. You will be missed and you are gone way too soon. Way too soon. Rest In Peace Mac".

Grande and Miller dated for a couple of years before they ended their relationship in May 2018. Grande took to social media and confirmed their split. She posted a picture of her and Miller on her Instagram story and wrote, "This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favourite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick, I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us! Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it's not you. I can't wait to know and support you forever and I'm so proud of you!"

American Rapper Mac Miller had reportedly been struggling from substance abuse for quite some time. He passed away at the age of 26 suffering an alleged drug overdose. He was found unresponsive at his residence in California following which his family confirmed his death. However, the cause of his death is yet to be confirmed. As per reports, Grande, 25, in an incident described their relationship as "toxic,"  and cited his sobriety issues as the reason for their break up. Grande is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson and Miller was reportedly unhappy as the couple got engaged.
